I'm just going to come right out and say it, Mark and Annika are absolutely adorable together! I feel incredibly blessed to have been able to be a part of their wedding day. Rayna McGinnis, of Rayna McGinnis Wedding Photography, asked me to be her assistant shooter for the day. I had an absolute blast working along side her and this sweet couple. (Her website is below... so make sure you check her out too because she's fabulous!)

Let's get to the good stuff and talk about the gorgeous details and fun surprises in Mark and Annika's wedding day! First of all, it was a brunch wedding. Who doesn't love mimosas and the Colorado mountain air first thing in the morning? The sun was shining and bright with just a few clouds in the sky overhead. After the ceremony, the couple asked their guests to join them in the little Red Barn for brunch. Now as someone who has been to a lot of weddings, let me tell you how wonderful brunch is as a meal option! A Spice of Life catering knocked it out of the park! After the meal, the couple celebrated their new vows and life together by cutting a delicious glazed donut instead of traditional cake. I'd also love to mention how incredible the floral arrangements were for Annika! They were bright, colorful, had amazing fragrance, and they were long lasting throughout the entire day. Mark's boutonnière was the most vibrant shade of orange and it really made his suit pop. The couple used mason jars throughout their venue with their photos inside to act as sweet home-made 3D picture frames. I've never seen anything like it but it was the perfect way to showcase their life and their relationship together so all of their friends and family could view their journey. Last, but certainly not least, the couple used Double Exposure Photo Booth to capture a fun alternative to the bride/groom, father/daughter, mother/son dances. Not all families like to dance or be in the spotlight so this was a unique and sweet way to capture the relationship between the bride and groom and their parents. But enough talking, let's get to the photos already! Please take a moment and leave some love for the bride and groom below!

Enjoy!
