Just recently, I was given an amazing opportunity to photograph some of the JV and Varsity Football Games for Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, Colorado. Of course I was thrilled and I said yes! (I did ask if I got to stand on the field with the players though, because if I'm gonna shoot it, I want to be in it!)

This game started out with a bang and it was highly charged and full of energy. This team played hard and were in such amazing support of one another. Around the half time it started to rain...hard! The wet ball made it difficult to pass and the grass bared no mercy either on the running plays. They never quit trying though, they never gave up.

They were an absolute joy to work with, not only are these young men and women talented on the field, they are polite and kind off. Being of small stature, I had to often squeeze between some of these young men who stand literally about two feet taller than I am, to capture a shot or two. They were great sports, even in a game that did not end as they had hoped, I am looking forward to seeing more of their seasonal development this fall. Let's Go Chargers!
