When you ask some brides about their wedding, they talk about the flowers, the venue, the dress....
When I talked to Sarah it was all about a marriage and starting a new chapter in her life with her husband David. From the moment you interact with her, you can tell that Sarah is warm and loving. She described to me that her mom and sister were two pieces of her soul and that David is her best friend and the greatest love in her life. I hadn't even met her yet, but I knew I wanted to photograph her wedding. We talked via text and email for a few months prior to her wedding day and she was always very clear about what was important, family and capturing their bonds together. I brought along an assistant shooter, Melanie with Flying Heart Photography, and we met Sarah, her sister, and their mom at their cabin as they were getting ready before the ceremony. Once she was ready, we caravanned over to the ceremony site and hiked up a short hill to Catamount Falls. Their ceremony was sweet and full of meaning. After the ceremony, Sarah and David agreed to walk into the middle of a waterfall for some amazing bridal portraits! How many couples are willing to walk into the middle of a waterfall? Not many! I couldn't of asked for a nicer couple who was focused on the real meaning of a wedding, a solid and trusting marriage. I wish nothing but the best for you both in the future! It was an absolute joy to be a part of your wedding day! Enjoy!

(I usually don't include the family photos in a blog, but I thought these were cute and fun. I love when dad's want to make the photos more exciting)
Everyone else headed down the hill to start the reception after, but we stayed behind to capture some bride and groom portraits. They were so in love and so happy I hardly had to pose them at all. I think you'll see what I mean when you look at them, they are beyond sweet!
