Charles and Katie were wed June 21st in Woodland Park, Colorado at the Shining Mountain Golf Course. I was asked by Jacie, who owns JW Photography, to come and be an assistant photographer for the day. The day couldn't have been more perfect. There were only a few intermittent clouds in the sky and sun was full and bright. Their ceremony was at 3pm and although it was hot (97 degrees!) their vows were so incredible you didn't even notice. I think my personal favorite was when Katie promised to give Charles 10 minutes of silence every day. Haha! They were such an incredible couple to work with and so full of joy. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much during their reception. Charles' retrieval of the garter was by far the BEST I have ever seen and they had a perfect sparkler exit to end the night. I hope you all love their wedding day as much as I did. Congratulations Charles and Katie!
